My name is Cherie! I'm being cared for by: ALL Animals Rescue Inc.

Size: Med. 26-60 lbs. (12-27 kg)
Sex: Female
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats. Cherie has a SAD story. She was picked up by Animal Control. They put the catchpole around her neck so tight that she had two "cherry eyes". She is thought to have fought so hard because she had puppies somewhere, but they didn't bother to look for them. Cherie missed her puppies terribly and was very depressed. So she was taken to the shelter. The day she was to be killed our rescue was notified of her. We rescued her immediately. She was very ill with an URI (upper respiratory infection) and KC (Kennel Cough). So she was vetted and in ISO for 14 days. She became so depressed in ISO we were afraid she was dying. She then went to a fosters who after four days said she GOT LOOSE and they don't know where she is. We tracked her down and she had been dumped at another shelter!!! We RE-RESCUED her and got her into a fabulous foster home. She does not get along with other dogs all the time so we say NO OTHER dogs to be safe. Well her foster had several other dogs and keeping them separated any longer was not possible so Cherie is in Boarding. Cherie LOVES humans, ALL HUMANS. She will happily lay in your lap and watch TV with you and she is a fantastic snuggler. Please consider Cherie for your new family member, she is truly a GEM!!
